Designing a therapist website for Cardiff based company, Tranquillum Therapies was a relaxing and enjoyable project for our web designers, it was much more calming than the usual hard deadline web design projects we are normally used to.
From the outset, our Cardiff therapist client explained they needed a new website design for their new start-up business, but after further discussions, we discovered that not only was it just going to be a new start-up business website, but also we’d be designing a new logo, company branding, stationery and trifold leaflets would need to be designed too for this therapist business.
For our graphic designers, the task was straightforward. The first step to explore and design a tranquil company logo and branding. Once the therapist logo and branding was designed, our graphic designers then sought to design business cards and letterheads depicting the therapy staff and business locations in both Cardiff and Bridgend. Once these were designed, therapist leaflets were designed and print-ready artwork supplied and sent to local printers.
Whilst the print work was being designed, our web designers had further meetings with the therapists in both Cardiff and Bridgend offices in order to determine website content, functionality and to establish who are the key Bridgend competitors and likewise, the Cardiff Competitors, in addition, our marketing heads needed to determine how difficult will it be to compete against the local competitors in the Google listings.
Our senior web designer and marketing expert then developed a wireframe and SEO action plan in order to build the best website out there for these therapists. As our web design team have built websites for chiropractors previously, the designers had a good idea how best to develop the website.
Whilst the site was being designed, the therapist business owner supplied us with content for the website by form of bespoke text. Our web designer collaborated with the therapist and together they sourced suitable stock photography that helped the calming appearance of the website.
Once our web designers had finished the website, SEO tasks were completed and signed off against our SEO checklist, the website was launched and left to mature within the Google rankings. Add a new therapist website, patience would be needed as the domain name is new, no back links, no social media coverage, the therapist website has to climb a big wall within the search engines.
However nine months later we can happily say that the therapist website is competing well within the first page rankings of Google in Cardiff and Bridgend local listings. Our Cardiff-based therapist is extremely happy with the outcome of the organic rankings. In addition to the website the therapist business owner has also been pushing social media with the expert guidance and advice.
