Birmingham based Brierley Guns are one of the UK’s largest retailer of shooting clothing, accessories and sporting guns. The original brief was to design and build an ecommerce website with an integraded gun directory, where Brierley Guns could advertise new and used guns for sale.
This Online shop is driven using Sellerdeck ecommerce software which allow the customer to add/edit products whilst managing online orders via desktop software. We built a Sellerdeck theme for the website, added SEO to the product pages and added the products for the client. Within a short period of time, the client’s ecommerce website was up and running.
The gun directory is a bespoke system that allows the client to advertise his products on his website. This is run seperately to the ecommerce part of the website, however it is custom-styled and themed so that it tightly integrates both the ecommerce and directory sections of the website. The result of this allows visitors of the website to seamlessly navigate between the two sections of the website as one whole website.
The advanced Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) our web designers have applied to this new website allows the products being clearly visible when the the search engines are spidering the site, as a result, the products are ranked very highly within the search engines.
This newly designed website has proven to generate great volumes of traffic and is very successful within the search engines.
